Lori
K. Long is the President of LK Consulting, LLC, a human resource management
consulting firm specializing in start-up and growing companies.
She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Kent State University
and a Master’s Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland
State University.
She has more than fourteen years of human resource management
experience, spending several years with KeyCorp and PageNet of North Central
Ohio prior to launching LK Consulting.
Lori
is a Past President of the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management and
is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Human
Resource Certification Institute.
Her
research interests include effective work/life management strategies, the
policy implications of federal employment laws and regulations, and the use of
technology in human resources management.
Lori has published several articles and book chapters and presented
numerous workshops and conference seminars on these and other human resource
management topics.
In
addition to her work for LK Consulting, Lori is an adjunct faculty member at
Baldwin-Wallace College and facilitates the programs for the Executive
Development Center at Cleveland State University.
She
lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband David and two children.
